During the time of returning home, young people usually picked wild flowers to place in the church, or to give to their mother. That’s why, we often give flowers today to our mom.
By early 1911, Mother’s Day was celebrated in almost every US state and on May 8, 1914, President Woodrow Wilson signed a joint resolution document that confirmed every second Sunday in May as Mother’s Day.

Father, dear father, the years have been long
Since I last listened your lullaby song:
Sing, then, and unto my soul it shall seem
Womanhood’s years have been only a dream.
Happy Father’s Day 2017 !!!

And always you were there with me
I may not have always said it
But thanks and I love you
